folks, the time has come to nominate bands for the Hartford Advocate Summer Band Slam 2005 and we need your help. This is the biggest original music showcase that Connecticut has to offer, and we would very much love to be a part of it this year. Bands are selected for the show based on the number of email nominations sent in by the public. And now we're on a campaign to gather email nominations and we need YOUR help!

So, if we've ever been nice to you, done you a favor, sent you a free CD, bought you a beer, if you've ever spent 5 minutes alone with my girlfriend in the back room of an icecream shop, if you've ever enjoyed nudie pictures pf either her or I, if we've ever left a positive comment in your journal, if you've enjoyed her Star Wars canteena scene transcription, then grab some good karma for yourself and help out.

the email should have "Nominate This" in the subject.
