Last night, My Brightest Diamond and Rasputina
. It was better than I dared imagine. I got there late because mapquest directions suck in so many ways it isn't even funny. I missed a little bit of My Brightest Diamond, and she was really good, I didn't know what to expect. Rasputina was awesome, the lead singer Melora is somewhat disturbed, or at least has a disturbing sense of humor. I actually was enjoying my time there I was smiling, and laughing at the jokes. Anyone who knows me knows that is something impressive, I don't show much emotion, it was too damaging to the rest of the family to show emotions. but I'm working on changing that. Since I cut them all loose, I have found that I am more relaxed and want to spend more time with others doing things I enjoy.
I also met a girl there, not surprising right? Well I was wearing my Troopers for Katie t-shirt and she was wearing a Green Lantern t-shirt, my favorite version too. She knew what the troopers were for and we got to talking after the show. We both like alot of the same stuff, the original Enterprise from star trek, the same light sabre( Luke's green one ), comics, books, manga, anime. I thought, " My god, the perfect woman " We exchanged phone numbers and are hopefully meeting up sometime in the near future. Could that have been a better night, except for getting lost. Now I am falling asleep at work, but I don't care what they say because I am extremely high on life, just in a sleepy way.
