the life of a university student is always stressful. there are always upcoming assignments and exams. there are always deadlines. there is always a shortage of money. there are always too many things to be spending this nonexistent money on. there is always a need to work, and i like that i make it my mission that there's always a need to volunteer. there are always people to be missing. there is always a steady stream of hellos and goodbyes. there are always parties worth attending and theme nights not worth missing. there is always drama in some way, shape or form. there are always people who need to laugh, and there are always people who need to cry...because there is always someone in the same boat as you.

but despite all of this, i think it's always important to step back and reflect on how amazing this experience is and to give thought to the little things that push you. to the things that give you a hand up when you've been kicked down...again. to the things that make the shitty things seem completely worthwhile.

- the new coheed and cambria album.
- my reunion with country music.
