The place is right down the street from where I grew up and from Chapman...the school I must graduate from before I die. Matt ambushed me and popped my cherry by taking me there and introducing me. Apparantly that's where he got his start...
I was nervous as hell, but got up there and threw out three songs....August Falls, 10 quick lessons on how to drown and Bleed and Suffocate. I was suprised by the response. I've got fans already...which is kind of weird. Met a ton of people. Some Blink 182 wannabee kids named Ash and...um...I forget the other really seemed to dig my stuff...which is cool...except that they like Blink...so that kinda makes you rethink your approach to songwriting.
