2022. I’m enticed with the idea of what it could be. What it holds. The opportunities. The future connections I will make. Whatever it may be- I feel an excitement. One I haven’t allowed My self to feel these past two New Years. As things are still so uncertain, one thing is absolutely certain. My strength, creativity, imagination & gratitude is grounded in the now. It’s harnessed in knowledge & passion & growth. For that- I’m allowing Myself to be excited for 2022 alone.
I have so many goals both personally & professionally so planting the seeds now for the future Me is a gift I give to My future self.
One of these goals is the plan to go full force with SG. I’m antsy to branch out & bring My full potential to the table with new people I respect as both artists & creators. I have already planned trips to Florida, Mexico & Chicago this year to shoot with some incredible photographers surely to make some memorable sets. I’m grateful for the means & connections to do so.
Another one of these goals is more personal, but this year I’m choosing Me & Myself alone. My mental & physical health comes first. I’m proud of Myself for ever evolving into someone who knows that “No.” is a full sentence that is only leading to a deeper understanding of Myself as time moves forward. I am choosing to love Myself fiercely in this way unapologetically.
THIS is what makes Me feel hopeful. This is why I’m allowing Myself to be excited for 2022. There’s something brewing that I’m already proud of & that’s a fantastic sign.
