Hell fuckin' yeah, I'm moving in less than a week!!!!! Back to Portland, and back to Reed!
I saw The Peculiar Pretzelmen again on Saturday. It was a new CD release party, and they were just unbelievably awesome--I mean, even more so than usual. Could've been the energy in the room, could've been the homemade vodka, but they were just going wild--Paul back-crawling on the ground, playing the bass clarinet, M. Incroyable standing above him with a... pumpkin-head-staff-noise-maker, yelling and pounding the ground... And Deacon, as cool as ever. Damn, I love those guys.
And of course, Nova Express for a Cthulhu shake afterwards.
I'll be able to catch The Pretzelmen again on Halloween with The Bad Things in Seattle, which I'm sure will be amazing, and THEN there's a FINNTROLL SHOW (!!!!!) in Portland on October 3rd.
