10 things you don't know about me...
1. I grew up in a big time southern baptist church in Jacksonville, Florida. My father was the lighting director, so I was there a lot. I am an existential pagan now, but that, a lot of people already know about me. ;)
2. I played the violin from the 3rd grade, till my sophomore year in high school. I can still play it, but not as well as I used too. I actually played in my church orchestra, and went to art school for that as well as dance and theater.
3. I grew up on the beach, and surfed a lot as a kid. I also skateboard, on a Penny (nickel size), as well as run the Skateboarders Group. Join if you haven't. ;)
4. I have a lot of health problems stemmed from being born prematurely. I joke that I'm like Monty Burns in the Simpsons (There's an episode where he goes to the doctor, and the doctor explains that he has so many illnesses trying to kill him, but it's like they're all trapped in a doorway and none can get through to actually kill him. If you've seen the episode, you'll know what I mean). ;)
5. I want to be a DP (Director of photography) on major films.
6. My goal when I was growing up was to be a world renowned prima ballerina. I had to give up that dream before I turned 20, which is when my heart condition started to get worse.
7. I attended art schools until my junior year, when I decided to give the "normal high school experience" a chance. In the short time before I signed myself out (and right into the adult studies program at my local collage, where I got my diploma) I saw a student get stabbed in the hallway, and another student had his head smashed open on a table in the cafeteria. Public school is nuts.
8. I have an obsession with collecting books. Mostly pagan, metaphysical.. The smell of the pages, and the wealth of information contained make my heart flutter. <3
9. I played guitar and sang at several coffee houses, shops, and cafe's growing up. I even sang in a band for a while in high school.
10. Being that this is number ten, I wanted to remind everyone that this month is my 10 year anniversary, being a part of Suicide Girls. I can't even tell you how much this site and all of you mean to me.. @sean, @missy... You have no idea how much I have grown, and blossomed through being a part of SuicideGirls. You both are responsible for saving my life, and I will be forever grateful.. as well as love and cherish you both like family for the rest of my life. I always say that SuicideGirls are my favorite family, and I mean that with every bit of my heart and soul. <3<3<3
