The weather here has been odd this year. A lot of days in the 70s (21 to 28 degrees celsius). Today it is 30 C. Finally sunny after torrential rain, though worse farther north in New York state and thereabouts. My basement flooded on Sunday; my neighbors on Sunday and Monday. Basements are good except when they flood. Ask Dorothy (from Oz).
I probably should take the 4x5 out today and look for fields to shoot. I've been meaning to do that for some time, but I'm spending time doing other things in the summer.
I like the shades of blue in this picture. I need to scan in more my pics. Alas, a hard drive crashed and lots of scanned images went away. Fortunately I use film so I still have them. Maybe I'll do a few today and post them. here.
I currently have a minor crush on an SG, but alas, will soon abandon the site after my one month stay. It's a nice site and all but I must admit that I would like to spend more time doing other things. Though perhaps I could find some models here (I don't do nudes....not my type of photography).
I here the Bahamas has good casinos and is a heck of a lot closer. I've never been more than 100 yards off the eastern United States coast, and less than that off the western United States coast.
Traveling has always been a less than exciting thing for me. Used to get motion sickness, and I am very impatient when it comes to staying in one place for a long time. (so....it's only upon pain of death that I stick myself in planes for long periods of time, which is a shame, because there are many places I'd love to see and shoot. I must find a solution.)
Off to lunch.
