I am so excited.. I have finally found a sparring partner for kendo. He is also somewhat capable in bo staff. Ever since I left California many years ago I have been unable to spar with someone. Yes I can do basic katas but it is still better to spar with someone..happy happy joy joy! 
what's kendo like?
kendo was one of the arts i considered studying, i mostly considered kendo and aikido but never ended up joining, mostly because i'm very unsocial and the groups of people involved was a huge turn off for me.
