While I have not necessarily weighed myself partly due to not wanting to by a scale, but mostly to I think the BMI scale is absolutely ridiculous. I have noticed that I am feeling a whole ton better overall. I feel less bloated now that I've managed to regulate my eating. Being stuck on my ass, literally, for 5 months really destroyed my cooking and eating routine. That being said also being immobile I wasn't able to burn off any calories.
Regulating my food intake is the first step. After that you get into a routine of exercise. Funny how it works huh? Doctors have said it for years, diet AND exercise. That's really it. It's no magic science. Watch what you eat, and watch your activity levels in collaboration of your calories burned. That simple. Of course this is for me, I don't have any major diet deficiencies like gluten intolerance or diabetes.
I'm feeling slimmer. Clothes fit better, less bloated. I'm feeling more energetic by getting to work and doing more things around the house. Even squeezing in a workout routine again has been manageable. Life is good. I'm hoping by this summer I've regained enough strength in my leg to tackle the incline and get back into the shape I was in. I'm in my 30's and I have no plan to stop working on myself so long as I can balance the schedule.
Cook clean, treat yourself occasionally, and stay active. Those are my principals!
