I officially have lost nearly all my girlfriends. I have a couple of acquaintances, but I no longer have anyone left that I can call up and ask to go to lunch. To go shopping in the middle of the day on short notice. To hop out of town on a jaunt.

I feel like I'm being forced into some kind of Mrs. Cleaver lifestyle - forced to be close to home because there's nothing else to do. Forced to take interest in solitary hobbies, or to do everything with my husband. I love my husband, but I also love having a social life.

All of our friends have moved away.

I'm thinking about joining the Bass Club to try to diversify ourselves socially. I'm so used to not having to make friends, they just happened. I'm so out of my element.
