Well, last night I ended up bartending a graduation party through a friend of a friend. I bought almost $2k worth of liquor and misc. shite!
The party went over so well, and all the compliments about my bartending skills inflated my head so much that I'm looking at starting a off site bartending/alcohol catering service.
Most people have never experienced the quality drinks fresh ingredients make, and since I refuse to use prepared mixers for cosmos, margs, lemon drops, etc...people end up getting drinks that taste unique and fresh. So that's my marketing campaign.
I swore I'd never bartend again...and I'm sticking by that...with a slight modification. I will never bartend for someone else to make money. But I will bartend to make tons of money myself!
Anyway...I'm charging the guy upwards of $1,000 for the party...and I've still got a shitload of liquor left. I actually left with more liquor than I came with, having taken all the wine that was'nt touched!
I'm off to go camping in Mammoth Tuesday!
