so life is going almost swimmingly. an atmospheric haze has covered michigan and once again blocking sunrays of thought to my mind.
can barely contain my excitement, things are progressing for my trip with my roommate to burning man.
i must confess, the whole emo scene is not for me. some of the music they say is emo now, is really post-punk, or math-rock. the worst part is that i'm such a hypocrite, due to my hatred of musical labels. but i prefer old emo. stuff i got into a long time ago. like sunny day real estate, and mineral. now that was emo. but i never considered it that, i just liked it.

my sky is filled with madness
my love is torn and frayed
suggestions of unhappiness throw about my unwillingness to compromise
so has this day begun this hostel force
