Trying to upload a photo here. Seemingly something else I can't do with this Mac. (I'm finding the Mac to be awful for uploading anything.)
tireoghain:
What's wrong with the Mac? Its probably more the browser's fault than anything. Or the file is too large (I can't upload stuff here I take with my camera without downsizing it first).
grayness:
I'm halfway through the screenplay. It has a good "feel" to it, and I think the physical humor would translate (to film) exceedingly well- I wish I had started earlier in the weekend. But I shall finish tomorrow. smile

Hey, an old video of me from the Metastasis shoot! I guess Benji threw the clip up relatively unedited (I think originally the reason they had me smile and wave my arms around was it was going to be made into something resembling a Japanese commercial.)

grayness:
Ah! Not Natalie Portman! A much younger Jami Gertz - that's who you look like to me. smile
I knew you reminded me of someone.

Today I was an extra in a movie. Supposedly it's a secret what movie it was, and we had to sign confidentiality agreements etc. and we kept being told the movie was called "Manhattan" even though the paperwork always had the name of a certain Norse God right on it, and and I think actually when my dad and I applied it was because we'd...

Just had a dream about the movie The Princess and Frog, which I never have actually seen. For some reason I dreamed an entirely alternate version (though I wasn't too far in when I woke -- Tiana an the Prince hadn't even met yet.) Unaware I kept thinking, "This is the best Disney movie ever, there's cursing every 5 minutes and the Princess's song has...

I am on my brand-new Macbook! And it looks like it arrived just in time, as when I went to plug in the old one to try to transfer some of the data, I couldn't even get it to turn on anymore. RIP old iBook, and my cover art for Voodoo Conjure.

And now I suppose I had better get on using this newfound...

My dad is telling that weird story about how we really own a house in California again. He is claiming now that he flies out to work in Santa Fe as a bartender. I don't know what he's up to. He's turning into grandma (his mom -- the one who a few years ago disappeared for a week and reemerged married to a 25 year...

I've been watching the show "How Clean Is Your House" a lot lately. It's kind of funny how it makes you realize there are things in your house that actually need to be cleaned. Like the inside of the refrigerator door, or the ceiling, or the outside part of the toaster.

Meanwhile, I remain the only person in this house that ever mops the floor....

Interesting take on the whole zombie thing.
I think a supernatural explanation for it kinda lessen's the fear factor a bit. Its not nearly as scary to think that an external force is the cause for a shambling horde of flesh eating monsters.

All I need now is to find a Unicursal Hexagram pendant and i'll be set biggrin

Last 5 movies I saw (only counting things I actually watched all the way through.) Ordered most recent to oldest.

1. Zack and Miri Make a Porno
2. Them!
3. Coraline
4. District 9
5. A Serious Man

I liked 3 out of these five, so maybe cinema is on the upswing again.
tireoghain:
I only enjoyed 2 of those 5. But I'm a cranky, picky git with a thing for Canadian actors and Sci fi.
mobprod:
I despised 1, didn't see 2, loved 3 & 4, and will hopefully see 5 next week.

I am noticing a tendency for sales of my books to increase on what I can only assume are paydays -- about every 2 weeks there seems to be a burst of sales, then nothing.

So far I am still making due with the old broken computer, I have gotten it to stay turned on by moving it to the kitchen. It seems that if...

i hear you! i've the dubious pleasure of working in London, but i live 150 miles away. thus, i spend hours on the train, days away from my wife, my cat, my own bed... money's good, and the job's taxing but almost enjoyable... on the other hand, what i earn through gainful employ and the sweat of my mind, is siphoned straight out of my pockets by the rail company and city prices. ho hum. modern life is rubbish!
