Stood up by an OK Cupid date... oh well... sad waste of makeup though.

Actually I've been getting an odd amount of attention lately... I think I must be going around looking especially gloomy though, because a great deal of it is 'cheer up' and 'are you okay?' kind of comments from people on the street.

Heh. I get told I frequently look like I am contemplating axe murder every so often, by some brave souls who either are fearless and innocent, or just overly honest and not especially bright. That's just when I am trying to think out a problem. But it does the job: I get left alone to concentrate.

Perhaps the mistaken interpretation of your inner workings can likewise be redirected to other ends?
