I have had a mystery cough for about 2 weeks now. No other symptoms of illness, and the cough usually gets worse in the evenings.
Also for no obvious reason my feet and legs have started hurting in the last couple days, as if I'd walked too much, yet I've barely done any walking at all.

I've got some kind of low-income-person free healthcare, I suppose I could see a doctor if I could remember who my assigned doctor was.

Otherwise, I am trying some experiments with that Law of Attraction/Visualization stuff. I personally have considered it to be crap, and this from someone who believes in the powers of hoodoo. It just seems to me like it's not so much "amazing attractive power" as it is that if you obsess over getting a certain thing you're more likely to see and arrange opportunities for getting it. But several of my successful fellow rootworkers seem to add it to their magic and suggest it to be helpful, so I'm giving it a try. Going to manifest a Bose Wave CD player in "graphite" color -- Ophiel in his book on Creative Visualization warns about setting sights too high too soon with visualizations, so that seemed something reasonable to pursue. (And I do need a new CD player: my old one only seems to recognize whether there's a disc in it or not 1 out of 3 times, have to keep taking the disc out and putting it back in till the stupid thing can figure it out; and the right speaker hasn't worked in ages.) I cleared out a space on my cabinet for the Bose player (part of acting like you already have it, recommended by the books) and that's done some kind of change to the balance of decoration in my room, makes me feel like I need to get rid of some of the books I own because these shelves just look way too overcrowded. In fact I need to get rid of so much stuff -- my mindset is kind of "I should try to sell things on eBay!" but that usually doesn't go too well and really I need to just give-away a lot of this stuff I don't use, make the charities happy.
