Bought the books "The Love Spell Book" by Gillian Kemp and the "Well Fed Self Publisher" book that I wanted. I figured the love spells book was a good investment since that's what I'm getting asked to do the most lately.
And now I have a sore throat from singing Martern Aller Arten. The real trouble with that song is singing closing the run -at... Read More
A few months ago I came on one of those Law of Attraction type books, though this one didn't seem as stupid as a lot of them. It was called "Wells of Abundance." I ended buying a copy, and have read it here and there. One of the things it advises doing is tithing -- and it suggests that if you don't really go to... Read More
Goddamn Yahoo Answers suspended my account because I was "promoting [my] own blog" by linking to a relevant post that, frankly, I don't know how anyone would know if it was mine or not (yes it happened to be mine. Still, I would hardly consider it "promoting" the blog given that it was an actual answer to the question.) It's not like the answer was... Read More
I've been having a really good week on the tarot site! I've sold at least one reading every day since I think Thursday or Friday -- in any case, that's never happened before! I'm usually doing well if I get that many in a whole month.
I would attribute it to my having bought some ads on Google, except that no one's been clicking them.
I'd forgotten what it was like to read a book that's actually enjoyable! It has been, oh, years since I came on such a thing. But I recently decided to reread "Gracie" by George Burns and it's very entertaining.
Hmmm... I kind of want to post about whatever interesting things I've lately done, but presently I seem to only exist in mega-stressed-negative-complainy mode or else shutdown-happy-zombie mode so there's lite to report.
I had gotten the $300 Acer computer, but after seeing it seemed to be doing nothing but freaking me the hell out, my dad took me to return it today. I think I might just see if my sister will give me her old Mac, it's a 5 year old model but really would probably be more than adequate for my needs. She's had a... Read More
The computer buying experience is inherently crazy-making. I hope you shall be richer and happier- but I expect that even when you are, you'll find the process just as maddening... as long as you actually give a flying rat's ass.
I think that would have been a very interesting KFC in which to be in attendance, indeed.
Since we're "moving" in a couple weeks, I need to buy a new computer because I might not be able to stay wherever my parents are, and my main income is via online tarot readings so this is an essential work thing. I found an Acer on sale for $300, but the sale is only through today. It's not my ideal computer, but I have... Read More
Are you sure you couldn't do better on Craigs List? There are a lot of disused computers out there fully loaded with software. If you can't find better locally, let me know. I may be able to locate a better option for a similar, if not lower cost.
Good to see the gamut. Judging by your potential expertise, I have a question: a friend of mine got me an alligator foot pendant at some voodoo shop in New Orleans, said it was supposed to be protective. I've been wearing it around, but quietly wondering as to its actual history and purpose, or if it's just a tourist trinket that is weird for a vegetarian to be wearing around his neck. Anything you know a lick about?
