Well, instead of being good and getting to work on that Sullivan translation I started a few years back and which was my New Years Resolution to finish, I seem to be translating instead Harlequin, The Emperor of the Moon from French.

So far no sales of anything from the commedia dell'arte site but at least it seems to be keeping me busy.

Was trying to make some illustrations of my book covers to put in my new book as a sort of advertisement -- the publisher has trouble with the color gray so I decided some line drawings would be best. What is up with Craigslist? Every time I make a new account it gets suspended! I don't even post anything weird, I think -- most recently I was looking for someone to transcribe some old sheet music, but I guess someone must have taken that for spam and flagged it?

Good for you in designing that lovely sari inspired dress for yourself. That Recollections site was fun to peruse. I have an old 1910/20s parasol from my grandmothers old collection which I love. It has a delicately carved bamboo handle and black silk and lace so old the color has faded and the fabrics is too delicate to open. Perhaps one day I will have it restored. It is nothing fancy but it is quietly attractive and hold memories for me. My grandmother was some special lady.

I think I could handle directing a film if I didn't have to be in charge of casting it, or making the costumes, or getting a camera, or planning how to use the camera, or instructing the actors, or choreographing the piece, or editing, or doing the makeup, or securing locations.
