you really have no idea how much i wish i had a camera right now.

in fact i do have a camera, but my sister is borrowing it (she also has a digital camera.... grr). anyway i thought i would get a digital camera before i left and bring it here, which i tried to do, over several days, and failed misserably at. pathetically. i suck.

so now i'm in edinburgh and it is one of the most beautiful cities i've ever been in, and i don't have a camera and it's driving me crazy. i keep seeing the coolest pictures ever and i can't take em. i really need to come back here once i buy a camera, it's only like an hour by train from glasgow.

the whole city is gorgeous, there are all these crazy spires and churches and cathedrals and walls and buildings that were built before america was even a country. across the street from me is a spire that makes me think of dante's hell, tomorrow i'm gonna go over there and see exactly what it is.

i went up to edinburgh castle today and looked around, i didn't do the full tour, i'm gonna try to go tomorrow, but i just looked at the castle and stuff. it's amazing, especially cause it's raining a light drizzly rain here and everything just looks perfect. i wish you were all here to see it (well, i wish some of you were here more then others, but really, if i could, you would all be here)

i think i'm going to love it here. i really do. i'm happy, for the first time in quite awhile. i hope it'll last.
