But I'm getting healthier monthly, and gaining confidence back. And it was definitely not the bad stuff other people have to go through! i got it easy!

I actually got into an argument with my college art teacher once, something about my definition of art being different from hers. That was like a decade ago though so I hardly remember what it was exactly, but she seemed to be less about the expression and more about the skill. Not a bad thing, but I lash out if certain limitations are put on me, if ya catch my drift.
If you gain more skill, you can express better.
