That sounds like the kind of night that's so bad, there's nothing anyone can say (or especially post online) that can make it any better whatsoever... but if it means anything from a complete stranger, I'm sorry. No one deserves to have all that happen, and definitely not in one night. And besides, the DC metro is NOT a fun place to be stranded at night (coming from another person who has been stuck there!).
I suggest you all check out the Great Redneck Hope... they are my new favorite band. Go here to listen to them. They kind of remind me of Daughters but they're a little bit less "we-we-we" which might be getting a bit tiring for some.
