BLARGH!!!
I've been sick for the past couple days with a cold. The kind that makes your head feel as if it is made of mucous! I'm better now though, Travis stayed with me for a couple days... we watched LOTR, cuddled and talked sweetly to each other. I've had a worse time while sick.
I got my roomate information yesterday, and I was trying to be positive. I found my roomate on facebook, and at first glance I was like, she's pretty, and kinda preppy looking, but she didn't seem COMPLETELY shallow and vapid. Then... I found a post that she had made on one of her friend's walls that says, and I quote "ummm so i have a gothic bisexual roomate no joke i dont even want to go to school anymore." WTF? I don't know where she got this impression of me... my only thought is my myspace page, but it's full of pink and cute and my sexual orientation is listed as "not sure'. So I'm not sure where she got that impression of me, but there is NO excuse for someone to be that narrow-minded. I was kind of afraid that I would get a roomate that would judge me just from my appearace, cause, ya know, my personality is completely determined by my hair and skin color. And obviously, because I'm bisexual *gasp*, I'm going to try to rape he in the middle of the night.
So, needless to say, I'm pissed at my roomate, and I haven't even met her yet. Lovely, maybe I can move into an apartment second semester... GRARG!
I'm traveling with Travis and his mom, his sister, and his sister's boyfriend to Boston, Massachusetts to help his sister move in to her new apartment. I haven't been up north in a while, so hopefully I will feel well enough to enjoy it.
I'm still pissed about the roomate situation. I really hate it when people are so quick to judge me on my appearance, because I try really hard not to do the same to others. Oh well.... maybe it will work out....
