I just released my first novella, Skin Deep Motives, last December. My first short story, Can't Beat A Classic (sort of an appreciation of Steve McQueen's Bullitt, but with a strong female protagonist instead), will debut in an anthology with other FaceBook fiction writers in May, and I'm working on the final draft for my first novel, The Grunge Operatives. All of my crime stories so far take place in a series I call Alternative Investigations, which is a private detective agency fronted by a 3rd-generation P.I. named Matt Grudge and his street-wise Lakota partner, Leslie Crow. Matt used to be your typical detective in a suit and fedora, but after he teamed up with Leslie to pursue a case in the skid row environs of downtown Portland, he adapted a lifestyle of wearing piercings and tats like her to blend into the cases they're drawn to and have to blend in with to solve. Thanks for asking about my writing, Adrastea. Your photographs are captivating. You wear purple very well. I noticed one of your favorite movies is The Crow. That film and the graphic novel were very influential on my own storytelling. I hope we can be pals here and I look forward to any tips you feel comfortable sharing.
