Won't be playing poker again on an NFL night. The season gets my full attention from 2-NITE! Mainly thanks to:
1: five getting the double-header tonight. Lovely stuff.

2: Wahey!!! All is well... this week.
And finally, while healing my knees, I caught up with some films:
Advent Children: rules
Ghost in the Shell: is very good.
Spirited Away: is balls out amazing.
Million Dollar Baby: deserved the Oscar. Then again I'm a sucker for boxing movies. Must get some F.X O'Toole's work.
The Assassination of Richard Nixon: is Sean Penn's Taxi Driver.
The Machinist[/B}: was very good.
Constantine: is the first rented movie since Gosford Park that I've turned off because it was fucking shit. What fucking mindless MTV dreck.
The Yes Men: interesting film. Very interesting.
