An afternoon of writing was scuttled through playing poker.

Pokerstars are doing these great sit & go multiple table tournaments - my most favourite style of poker play. Played 3 since last night - bounced out 20 of 27th after being bolloxed by backdoor straight (which I have great difficulty spotting), finished 3 of 18 in the second one (10 8 vs 2 8 - the guy spiked 2 pair on the flop, the turn brought an 8 and all the chips were going in then) and defied stupidity and unluckiness to finished 9 of 27 (no f'n luck whatsoever). Tonight I'm doing another one but this time the Egg's in as well. I'll be really fecked off if we don't finish heads up.

This goes out to you UK ones that happen upon this journal.

Or tactically so the Tories don't get back in.

Either way puts a smile on my face.

But if Mikey Howard is PM Friday morning, I'll be gone from here.
