After a string of 58 races, Michael Schumacher retired from the Bahrain Grand Prix due to mechanical failure. His Ferrari did not break for 58 races. Unreal.
At least F1's becoming competitive again -- for the moment.
First the Pope, now Schumacher's Ferrari. What's next?
One thing about the Pope dying, I'm more aware of certain facets of Catholism. Like the way they used to choose popes. Pretty hardcore. Once again, somebody dies and I'm more aware of their accomplishments. A bit like Jim Callahan last week. Say what you will about that wicked old bitch Thatcher, she didn't let the unions bring the country to a halt unlike Callahan.
I think a prominent statesfigure should die every Saturday. Around 6:00. Just before Doctor Who. That would be very interesting and entertaining television.
I'm extending the invitation that I originally made to TuTone. In this next book of mine there's going to be a lot of killing fodder. So give me the name, or names, of people you would like see killed, or referred to as dead in a nasty manner, in print. I'll try to include as many names as possible.
Keith Allen is the best documentary maker out there. He combines irreverence, information, swagger and a serious 'I don't give a fuck' attitude to hiliarious and compelling effect. He's only made 2 documentaries so far, I think, but both have been brilliant. You must check them out. Don't know where you'll find them though.
Television's getting good again. Just when I'm about to start writing again.
Sod it, I'm a professional.
Gah.
Oh Sato's out. This Bahrain track is a mechanical killer!!!

So now, is Dr. Who still on, or are you watching re-runs? We/I haven't seen that show in, well forever. Talk to me, Goose!
