Birthday was cool. Got Pro Evo 5, played Pro Evo 5, going back to play Pro Evo 5 very soon. Videogaming crack it is although as soon as I beat Saudi Arabia I may get to some of my other presents. Boy I'm glad I took the rest of the week off work. Pro Evo 5 rules.

Last night Gary Lineker wondered who'd have picked France to be in the final of the World Cup. I DID!!!! Ho-ho, I rule. Almost. I had France losing to Brazil in the final. I have witnesses and carbon copies of this astounding feat. Even more strange the Egg had picked Italy to reach the final also, but he picked them to lose to England - which makes his pick more amazing than mine because anyone who had England going to the finals has sight and sense issues. Or had, they be seeing more clearly now (heh-heh)

I've lost myself. What's the point... ah yes. So now we're debating who picked the better tournament. He did better during the group stages, I've done better since but it's coming down to the final. If France lose I win the World Cup prediction, if Italy does, he wins. The prize at stake - the right to shame and embarrass the other for the next four years for being rubbish at football clairvoyance. It's a shallow prize to win but t's a coveted one in this household. What does this say about both of us proxiamately? We appreciate the small things in life. What does this say about us ultimately? We're in dire need of girlfriends.

The sun is out. The clouds have burned poff. It's a nice day for a walk. A grand day to paint the fence. A better say to concrete up the holes in the garage thus entombing the green-headed sparrow's (native to Sheland) nest those dirty birds have built and the chicks they conceived... but instead I'm off to shave my head and play Pro Evo 5. I love being me.
