You know, this time of year, the holiday season, is really starting to piss me off. Would you like to know more? (guess that movie reference). Here's why: This has been a tough couple of years for the avereage American; not just unemployment, the economy on the brink, our elected "representatives" focused more on the ascendancy of their parties than their constituents, or even the Constitution for that matter. This is, in my humble opinion, pouring salt into the wound:



You see these commercials a lot on TV; rich families who can spend tens of thousands of dollars on a damn car they're only going to drive badly anyway, when most Americans are struggling not only to make ends meet, but even to provide the bare minimum for their families to make the holidays worthwhile, and memorable. In general, we've lost our way as far as the true meaning of the holidays and how we spend them with our families and friends, so to remind all of us of the true meaning of the holidays, and how we should show our love during this time, here is the quintessential story of honest to goodness gift giving; I wa hopinig to find that old black and white movie, but this is the best I could find.
