Hello all,
It is HOT HOT HOT! 92 F outside...my apartment...likely around 100+. I feel like im melting! Drinking lots of water today and orange juice cause I'm not feeling the best. I'm so excited to move tomorrow! It is only a block over, but my new room will be so much bigger and I will actually have AC! The first time in a few years...
I am so happy that I have some great friends and a wonderful BF who will be helping me move tomorrow!
Apart from the heat and the move, my rat is pregnant (I think)...which means she is due next week. I am very excited to welcome the little ones and be able to give them a great home until they are old enough to be away from mama rat (4-5 weeks). Then its back to the books for another semester! This is my last year of my grad program and I'm starting to worry about what I'm going to do when I graduate. I would love to teach or own my own business...teaching preferred because I just love teaching! If anyone wants to learn, I am happy to teach and share knowledge.
I also have a studio day planned out with a student and we're going to have an 8 hour day and make a necklace out of found objects and whatever else is in my studio. This is to challenge the mind to not only work quickly but to be creative in any problems that come up. Great exercise to start the fall semester!
Well thats all I got for now, I'm going to lay back down with my ice water and watch a movie....just get through this heat one min at a time...
