How are you doing with it? I'm anxious to just get started with the frickin' thing already, my Endo is taking forever on this issue. wants me training with shots first... Ugggg I've been on shots for like 2 years now! He switched the type of insulin I'm using to mimic the pump a bit more. Making me write everything down, fax it to his office, blah blah blah... pain in my ass lol. Any pump tips?

I can't watch poker on tv, no cable. I'm sure it would be more fun now that I know what's going on.

Out all my friends who have read the book, only four of them have had anything positive to say about the book, and only one of them really enjoyed it, so I'm probably a little hesitant. Most loathed it, particularly those with similar taste to me, but I'm going to try eventually though.

Thanks for the comment, I'm getting the impression from those that read it that the book is better than the movie (the exact reason to see the movie first, then read the book)

Apparently, at the coffee shop my friend goes to, everyone is always stealing huge loads of splenda packs and they are always out!

I just grabbed that whole thing from this photographer's insanely vast collection of costumes and such. The shoot was very spontaneous, I just took the next best dramatic-looking rag! smile

Nice.

Which Neruda poem would you get?
cereal_killer:
thought i'd bring my answer to your boards question here since i'll actualy give you a straight answer as opposed to being an asshat about it and ripping you up and down for 2 pages for whatever reason. feel good though... at least you've supplied the easily amused with hours of entertainment.

(side note: i've been here 4 years and never use the boards anymore... nothing but immature retards on there... it's pointless. fight here... squabble there... blah blah blah)

anyway, if you don't mind the cold i would go with toronto... to be entirely honest i've never been to SF, so i tend to be a bit biased on this particular subject, but anyway, i digress. TO has all your big city stuff... different parts of the city (downtown, "china town", artsie sections, etc)... it's a good mix of everything in my opinion. people are polite, friendly and not snarky or rude up there (well, too much). the city is also unusually clean. when i lived in syracuse, NY i went there almost every weekend. i've made tons of friends and i always have a good time. the schools are really good from what i understand, you should try joining the SGCanadaEast Group you could ask about grad schools and other things about the city. you would actually get decent answers in their.

oh, and there are plenty of lovely ladies available for partying with... straight, gay or bi. biggrin

hope that actually helps.

I'm enjoying season 2 more than season 1 so far, which is highly unusual for a TV show. It also means I'll have to buy the DVDs now, if season 2 ends on a high note. wink
