I walked to Oakhurst Community Garden with a friend. I didn't know that it was less than 6 blocks from campus, wow. Alexis said there was a coffee shop a few blocks down from the garden, and I didn't know that either (I might go down there tomorrow). It was surprisingly small, and things were growing out or getting mown down and mulched in preparation for the fall , but alot of things were still growing, clovers, basil, birds of paradise, these things that were purple and looked like upside down bells, butterflies nearly the size of your hand... it was pretty nice. I can't believe I used up 27 exposures at the place. I'll have to see if I can load the pics on SG.

I'm still not sure about the fiction class. I did sign up for Hebrew Bible and am looking forward to taking it next week.

I'm not looking forward to working at the library. There was some shit that went down last spring, and the after affects still linger. I don't see a better alternative on campus and I don't think an offcampus job would be as forgiving of my classwork.

I have a near unholy lust for an Apple g4 powerbook. It would make things so much easier...space and transportation wise.

If push comes to shove and I can't get enough $ for San Fran/Minneapolis, I'll see if I can go kayaking.
