Went to Charlotte yesterday and stayed overnight so my mother could pick up a transcript. It was frustrating, being in the city I grew up in and not being able to do anything, no going to museums, or restaurants...that never happens. I'm kinda considering the Univercity of NC-Chapel Hill-at least I could drive down on the weekends.
One thing that annoyed me, and still annoys me about Charlotte-the rapid, massive gluttonous building without a clear purpose or practical purpose. It seems once five restaurants are build in a row, and three go out of business, the only solution used is to put more in their place. It doesn't make sense. Although I was in a horrible mood when I was travelling I was extremely happy riding around downtown Charlotte.
