kids today have no respect. when i was in grade one, the kids in grade three were something to aspire to. the kids in grade nine were fucking gods. anyone older than that was just scary. not anymore, apparently. i was riding my bike a few weeks ago, when this kid with her friends, who couldn't have been more than eight, started being a little smartass:

kid: hiiiiiii
me: hi
kid: what are you doing???
(apparently kids have not only become disrespecful, but stupid)
me: uhh, riding my bike
kid: how old are you?
me: 21
kid: no, you're not!!!
me: fine, im not
kid (gesturing to phoenix): is that your BOYfriend
me: yeah. wanna see us kiss?
kid (running away towards friends): did you hear what she just said??

jesus. fucking. christ.


so truth be told, the true purpose of the above crap was to distract you all from the fact that this is my first journal entry in two weeks. i've been very busy, throwing dinner parties and organizing my social life-

my only hope is that my long, unexplained absence has left you thirsty for arete updates and at this point you'll take anything i throw your way. but seriously, with school starting again i *should* be near a computer more often, dreaming up new ways to fool all of you into thinking that i am a really cool person
