Just getting back to San Diego, finally, after my flight was delayed for 2 hours! But I guess it's ok since they had to swap planes...I mean it was that messed up that it couldn't be fixed.
So this past weekend I went with my fiance to visit friends in Port Orchard, Seattle. They live off in the peninsula, in a more rural area. They have a beautiful home, brand new, over two acres of land, oh and yeah they have a forest as their back yard and they own it! Karma and Joseph were such wonderful hosts, we felt so spoiled. We hung out, drank bottles and bottles of wine, kept the "tourist" stuff to a minimum, and just enjoyed each other's company. On our last night there, Joseph asked us if we wanted to try absinthe. I was warned that if I didn't like the taste of licorice that I might not like it but it was worth it. The first shot was utterly disgusting, but after that I didn't even notice. I got this great drunk feeling, but with absinthe everything is crystal clear, you stay fully aware.
