Hooboy. Not having internet has sucked. But now I'm on.
Portland is Teh Fun. Well, i've been poor, so I haven't really done anything. Today was supposed to be my first payday, but it has been determined that I'm not yet "in the system." Of course, I learned this at 3:30 on a friday. Hopefully I'll start being on the clock soon, since i've been working for two weeks. Blech.
So, a bit more poverty. And thus, no great stories.
Well, one great story.
Last weekend, at a party with a bunch of queer women, two guys knock on the door. Boys! we think. What are they doing here? Turns out these gentlemen were roadtripping from Toronto (they had awesomely unadulterated accents) and looking for a place to crash for the night. And in return, they were willing to barter an armful of potatoes. A whole variety of potatoes in fact. White, baking, red, sweet.
And if that's not a Portland-esque story, I dont know what is.
