I just packed up all out dvd and vhs movies into boxes and cleaned up the two tall bookcases and one small bookcase they were all in and took the bookcases over to the lady that bought them form me. That is all out of the way at least. I have been collecting boxes from the local commissary and getting stuff ready to pack. I am starting with stuff I know I won't need, but want to keep. Once I find an apt to live in then I can pack up the rest of my shit and get rid of the furniture I have sold and then I can stop worrying.
I hate it when things happen at the last minute and you spend most of your time worrying if it's going to happen at all.
If I can't find a place here, then the 16 yo and I will move to Washington with Tamer and the 17 yo will stay here with friends and graduate. I really hate to do that as I will miss her alot and won't get to share in her Senior year, but I hate to pull her out and make her change schools too, especially since we have been here most of her school life. The 16 yo is ready to live somewhere else.
Tamer wants me to go to my Union Rep and see about getting my flaggers card so I can have a good paying job while I look for a clerical job.
That is soemthing I will miss about moving to the States, there is no way I am going to find a job that pays what I make here.
I will also miss the random moose that just stroll by no matter where you are in this town. I walked out of the local gas station a few years ago and had to back myself up nice and slow cause there was a moose witha baby standing right behind the door. Very freaky!
Why don't a bunch of you just come by my house and help me pack and clean and I will feed you all bbq chicken and macaroni salad and mushrooms & onions!
