Damn I have been tagged! Rosa tagged me and now I have to name 20 interesting things about me!
1. I have an "angels wing". That is what my chiroprator called it when I was 12. A friend of mine tried to throw me in a pond and slipped in the mud and dropped me . I pulled the tendon under my right shoulder blade. I was under chiropractic care for several years. It still goes out when I lie on it wrong or use it too much. It is called and angels wing because when it goes out my shoulder blade sticks out farther then it should.
2. I have bitten my nails to the quick since I was 5 years old. I am slowly in the last 10 years gotten more control over it and they actually grow now.
3. I have absolutely no sense of direction. I always lose my car in even the smallest parking lots.
4. Minxtamer says I am insatiable. I get sex and am completely satisfied, but not ten minutes later I want to do it again! Drives him crazy!
5. I love Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Baker Vampire series of books. I just finished reading the last one and am anxiouly awaiting her next one due in February. Her Merry Gentry Fey series is awesome also, but their is just something about Vampires that does it for me.
6. I, like Rosa who tagged me, went to a Christian school. I didn't go until 7th grade and I graduated a year early. If I had attended college I would have been lost!
7. In said Christian School I finished all my required science credits by the end of my 8th grade year.
8. There was a reading machine in high school that recorded how many words per minute you could read. You had to take a test on what you read to make sure you comprehended it. The machine went up to 1200 wpm, I broke it.
9. I met my husband at the age of 12 at a church youth meeting. He was wearing something like a boy scout uniform shirt. Then met him again when he ended up at my Christian School in the 9th grade, we became best friends.
10. I was very mean to my husband when we were dating. We would go out and then I'd break up with him, then he'd take me back and I'd break up with him again. He wanted to be a preacher and I there was no way I was going to be a preacher's wife.
11. I have been wearing 3 inch or more high heels since I was 16. I cannot stand anything under 3 inch and I adore platform "fuck me" boots!
12. I have a natural "monroe" and a similar one under my left eye.
13. Every night since I was about 8 I said a prayer for whomever might be my future husband and now I say that same prayer for my husband now.
14. I am submissive and I adore worshipping at my Master's feet.
15. I collect several "favorite" things: unicorns, sea shells, dragonflies and faeries. None of them match!
16. My favorite color has always been purple, even when I was little and everyone else liked green.
17. My favorite candy is banana salt water taffy.
18. I made out with my first "older" boy when I was 11 and he was 14.
19. I am HORRIBLE at budgeting money. So bad that my husband took away all my credit cards. For some reason he wants to save for a house! heheh
20. I can't drink alcohol. I got really drunk one night on mixed drinks, beer and tequila and threw up and had a hangover for 3 days. Don't remember that night at all, now if I have one drink I end up with a tension headache within the hour and don't even come near me with tequila.... I will throw up!
My son is coming home for Christmas! He is stationed at the Presidio at Monterey studying Mandarin Chinese and he gets leave from Dec 23 - Jan 8. I just got his tickets and am really excited. We haven't seen him since he graduated from Basic last October.
Hubby has to repeat some test from the physical he took for a job in Yakima Washington. He has to take a lung test, hearing test and depth perception test over again. This has been a very long process and I can't wait for it to be over so I know one way or another what is happening. I don't care if we stay I don't care if we move, I just don't have the patience for waiting.
It finally snowed ALOT and it looks like it is here to stay. We got about 3 inches last night and my 16 yo had to take her drivers license test today and she has never driven in snow by herself. Needless to say she was nervous! She did great though and passed with flying colors! I was so proud of her. My last kid is almost all growed up. Another 3 years and I and hubby can party nekkid whenever we want!
Just made my oldest girls and my tattoo appointment for 3 days after her 18th birthday (Nov 18). We are both getting snowflake tattoos, but not matching ones. She is going to be so excited when I tell her I finally got the appointment made. She has been waiting waiting so long. Oh hell, I am excited!
