I watched City of Lost Children for the first time last night. It's a wicked film (in every sense of the word). Top 20, I'd say.

On deck for this evening is City of God. I've heard an immense amount of praise, so I'm optimistic. Pistol Opera was scheduled, but POEE mentioned that it was likely far too abstract for my taste. He passed out after ten minutes. Considering the film is Japanese and he's a sort of Asiaphile (if such a title exists), I'll take his word at value.

Oh, and Jet Li's Hero opens on Friday - along with the new Ben Kingsley flick, Suspect Zero. It's going to be a good movie weekend.

I now have a couple pictures up. They are the only ones taken of me in the past year - so pardon the formal wear.

As a special treat I included the one of me immitating a goat. That's nothing too out of the ordinary in my case, but the fact that I'm not wearing glasses is. Commit the image to memory. Unless I'm sleeping with you or having a really stress-ridden day, you'll likely never see me sans optics again.

Also, I know my profile picture is still blank, but I'm looking to put something less black tie there.
