I just saw "Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy" and I have to say it was a nice little film. I vaguely recall the BBC production, but this one was much larger in terms of scale and budget, and though that doesn't necessarily entail better in this case I think it does.

Not that I consider the movie a masterpiece. Far from it. However, if you want a light-hearted time-killer, "Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy" is it.
