It's really hard, watching a friend go through hell and not be able to say or do much of anything to help him climb out of the pit of depression he's fallen into. All I can do is try to be there for him when he needs someone to lean on.

Do you have a part of you that says, "screw it, worst that can happen is she says no and even if she does, it isn't going to kill you?" What would you do?
I like amazon.com, I really do, because 99% of the time they deliver what you order in record time. All except that copy of Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King extended edition DVD with the Numenor resin statue. Yes, I know I'm a dork for ordering it but so what? I never claimed to be otherwise and if you can't handle it TOUGH. Anyway, they still haven't shipped it after nearly a month. One more week I'll give the seller, then I'm cancelling the order.
Isn't it great to discover a really kick-ass band? I can't wait until I can open up and play the CD.
