I'M BACK!!!
After months of unemployment leading to the expiration of my SG account, I have returned with a new job, a new year-long subscription and new updates on my life.
THE JOB:
A telemarketing gig, which sucks, mainly because you have to get a certain number of sales per day or they shitcan your ass. Which almost happened to me this week. I don't know how long this one will last, I'm just going day to day on it as of this moment in time, but it's putting a bit of money in my pocket until something more stable and secure comes along. I'm trying to snag a job with the city of Cleveland, which offers decent pay and benefits, and a better chance of keeping my job.

Last year I volunteered on a successful mayoral campaign here in Cleveland, and right now I'm working with my councilwoman to get a city job. So far no luck, which sucks, but I am getting leads and connections built up. I'm volunteering right now on a campaign for state representative for one of the guys who worked the mayoral campaign last year, so hopefully that will pan out as far as a job goes. I am also running for Precinct Committee Member this year, which is only part time and doesn't pay anything but it has the benefit of gaining you experience on running for actual, paid offices. Which I'll probably end up doing at some point in the next couple of years.
I was dating a gal name of Jennifer. We were getting along well enough, except for the fact that she makes herself pretty scarce and doesn't return calls. Bottom line is that she's unreliable and while I do like her I need something--and someone--who'll be there for me when I need her to be, and that I can be there for when she needs me. So I'm available, ladies, if you live in the Cleveland area.
I have a new blog, and before you click the link to it I should warn you that I am a liberal and chances are my views will offend you if you happen to be a conservative.
