So I think I'm pretty much giving up on religion. Christianity, these new evangelicals especially just want to control everyone's lives. Homosexuality.. You see the Baptists going to dead U.S. soldier funerals with signs saying "Thank God for dead soldiers" and even 2 months ago "Thank God for 9/11". And why? Homosexuality and how immoral us Americans are. What else? Discrimination in the workplace, still goes on as much as ever, they're just smarter about it now. The Christian right is hellbent on packing the federal judiciary with extreme christian activist judges. They won't be happy until Roe v Wade is overturned, and even then they'll still want more control. Right to die? have a painful cancer and six months to live? want to just end it on your own terms with a little dignity. No matter how incurable the disease is if we have the technology & medicine to extend your life just a *little bit* longer, then it must be done these people say. Can't do it. But there are laws now that say they can use marijuana to alleviate the pain, well guess what, they won't allow that neither. Then you have your Terry Schaivo. Congress called a special session, even the President came out from his ranch to try and stop pulling her feeding tube. Then we found out she'd been brain dead for several years. Yet with all of this they say no to stem cell research, which has so much potential to improve people's lives, cure diseases. They say it's wrong to do such & why? they think they're protecting the potential life of these things that if go unused will just be thrown away. All of this pro-life yet the death penalty isn't good enough for them, they want to expedite the entire process.

I'm sick of it, they're not going to be happy until Biblical Law replaces our Constitution.
