Ah... today was a good day. I had fun at work. Spent time with friends and got bloody drunk. Of course with drunkeness comes clarity. With clarity comes Arbco's state of the "union".

Today was good. Two beautiful people were married today. Amazing music was made across the globe for a cause greater than all of us. It's not about money owed or about money to be gained through future trade. It's about strength. An inner strength one gains through from freedom. A strength gained from knowing that someone, a nation, a world cares. It's not about the power that tyrants hold over the oppressed. It's about the power the oppressed gain through love and mutual respect. I know the emptiness of feeling unimportant and unloved. If there is one boy, one girl in all of your land that can feel safe, can feel solace in knowing that some random heart in the middle of Kansas cares, may my heart go out to them. It's not a message of politics. It's not about left versus right. It's about humanity. It's about the center of us all. Out heart. Our soul.
I listen to your music. I listen to your voices rejoicing in that music. I listen to the voice of one of your beautiful chosen.
You were imprisoned for twenty-seven years. I feel sad if I'm alone for twenty-seven minutes. I take for granted the very paper I write on every day. Paper you couldn't have for months on end. I stand and do nothing for thirty minutes at work and I'm bored. That same thirty minutes was all of the friendly human contact you would see in a year. If I could do. If I could be a fraction of what you are...I would be a great man.

May God bless those newleyweds. May god bless those people who sing for a new tomorrow. May God bless those men who hold that tomorrow in their political pockets. May God bless that boy or girl on the other side of the world. He or she wants the same things I do. Love, happiness, respect. May God bless that entire land and it's beautiful Nelson for giving this boy in Kansas someone to look up to. May God bless us all.

We never named him. We used to have a cat named Ms. Kitty. Then we had Mr. Kitty. Then we got this one when he was tiny so we just call him Kitten. He's got an undescribable personality so no name would suit him now. Hes just the Kitten.
