Linger with me, in my dreary drenched state.
Laugh with me, my time abate.
Hallow words, tempt my soul.
My broken sighs, corrupt you whole.
Brilliant in pain, my mind carries.
Destructive in bliss, my soul wearies
Undetermined sight breaks me anew.
They took my wings, but then I flew.
Upon whispered words, clinging to the air.
Joyful sorrow is how I fair.
Painted below, needing of time.
Unspoken words, of a taintless crime.
Convicted by jury, of having one flaw.
Falling into love, with the one I saw.
Beneath the face, lies a soul that's pure.
Blurry red pain, my heart had to endure.
For you were taken, far away from here.
Induced drugged state, always when you were near.
But now you've gone, and left a small piece of you.
The love you gave to me, in my heart stays true.
You were my only, you were my friend.
I'd follow you down a broken path, all the way to the end.
So linger with me, in my dreary drenched state.
Laugh with me, for my time to go, is late.
I hear death rapping, on my broken glass door.
"I told you I'd love you forever," I roar.
And as death cold hand, grasps my soul.
