Going to the Carbonell awards tonight, since I am eligible for an award for a show I was in last year (Dealer's Choice by Patrick Marber) that got 5 nominations, including Best Ensemble and Best Play for 2006. The awards will be held at the Broward Center, and my father is saying (after a month of planning to go) that he won't go because his mother is sick (which she isn't, she's just saying she is so he will sit around at her house). Kind of sours the night a bit. So now I have a $45 ticket sitting here all non-refundable. I hope we win or the whole night will be seriously lame.
