after this thursday, the only thing i have to do is study for finals and find a job. I keep telling myself "i will find a job, i will find a job." They will not all be gone by the time i get there. I tell myself this because it's too stressful to think otherwise, and extra stress will get me nowhere at this point.

To do:
One research paper on alex grey
One short (2-3 page) paper
Seven revisions of 2-page papers (two of which have been lost from the hard drive so i need to type them out again)
Take-home portion of Astronomy test
Study for Japanese test

Last night, had a last-gasp round of procrastination, and did it right for a change: watched a movie (Queen of the Damned) and went to bed early instead of sitting around telling myself i should get to work. Was very relaxing and nice--quiet brain, not busy brain.

Everyone told me Q of th D was a terrible movie, so i am glad i watched it alone. I saw plenty of places where the writing, acting, make-up whatever could have been done better, but ultimately it was a sweet vampire love story. Perfectly nice to have a little me-time with.
