I really should blog properly more often here. I used to be a HUGE LiveJournal blogger back when that was more of a thing, and I think sometimes now I struggle to get words out a bit.

I'm in a really bad financial situation right now. Dinner most nights for me is beans on toast, and even my dogs aren't getting their favourite food! I've now been semi-unemployed since May 2015, with only freelance work and a four-week casual fashion retail contract contributing towards my cost of living at all. I'm not eligible for any type of government benefits as my partner's assets are considered to great - even though our finances are totally separate. It's pretty shitty. I'm applying for jobs every single day, but unfortunately jobs are few and far between where I live right now.

I'm starting university this year, and as it stands, the amount that's currently in my bank account won't cover the cost of my textbooks and travel for even the first semester.

If you happen to feel like purchasing something from my print shop, know that besides the printing costs and photographer's cut, everything goes towards textbooks, travel and enrollment fees.
