Noel might lose his job.

He's been doing his current job for over two and a half years at a bank in Toronto. However, he's technically employed by a temp agency. His position has become available as a full-time position, so he's had to apply for his own job.

So people from within the compay (who are given priority over outsourced or off the street people) have been applying for his job for the last couple of weeks. A job that (like I said) he's been doing very well at for the last two and a half years.

If the fates smile upon us and he does get...his...job....then he'll get a raise and vacation time - which would be just plain awesome.

First they told us that he would find out last Thursday. Then it was Friday and now it's Wednesday (tomorrow). So I'm quaking in my boots a bit because it's being pushed back because more and more people are applying for his job.

To me it just seems like such a huge slap in the face.

One additional problem is that he hates his job. It's a help desk position and he hates people. So if he doesn't get the job, hopefully he'll find something he hates less or even....likes!

So hard to tell anything at this point.
