This is Looooooong overdue, but here's some pictures of our new house. Today I'm posting main floor pictures (because that's all that's at least semi-clean at the moment - haha). Outdoor front/back and upstairs will be posted soon.
Kitchen. We have a monstrously large kitchen for our first house, which make me happy because Noel and I like to cook together.
Things to point out in the kitchen:
Above the cupboards is my herb collection for just about anything under the sun. Mostly decorative because I'm lazy.
Fishtank in the corner with our swordtail fish.
Frog tank is by the table where we keep our 2 red eyed tree frogs.
The table itself and the floor are covered in pots and pots and pots of dirt and "start indoors" plants for our soon to come planting season. Monkey likes having her picture taken and sits on the chair.
The fridge is full of junk and magnets we have been given at various points.
And the view to our backyard from the sliding glass doors in the kitchen:
Living Room:
My handy dandy death scythe in the corner. Doesn't everyone have one of those? They should. On top of bookcase beside window is a spider-weapon. Each leg is a knife. Mostly for decoration.
Record player close by. Still within the generation that knows what they are. hah. I guess that makes me old.
My prize Nosferatu wall hanging. My favourite movie poster ever. I love it.
The tower on top of the speaker next to the TV is a dice tower I designed and Noel put into action. I'm working on putting the creative touches on it. It'll take a while.
On TV is Two and a Half Men. We're both addicted.
I'm probably forgetting to tell you guys about tonz and tons of stuff, so don't be shy - mock my decorating style, ask me questions. You guys should know I'm open about stuff by now
