Jewel is amazing!!!!!!!
Really that's all I probably need to say, but because I'm a loser I will continue. I went to the Jewel concert tonight and she was phenomenal! She started the concert with an ocapella (sp?) "Over the Rainbow" and then did "Goodbye Alice In Wonderland" and another song from her new album which I didn't catch the title of... I really need to start listening to the CD more... then she went oldschool! On an EXTREMELY happy note, she played "Little Sister" which is the one song I thought she would never in a million years play! I was completely floored when she started singing it. I LOVE that song... in fact I was singing it in the shower as I was getting ready for the concert! She also played "Morning Song," "Meant for Me," "Break Me" (another personal favorite), "Nicotine Love," "Everybody Needs Someone Sometime" (I'm not sure if that's the actual title, I shoudl probably look that up), "Down So Long," and a few other songs that are kind of a blur in my mind... "Standing Still" She closed with "Who Will Save Your Soul" and then as I was walking out to the car she encored with "Foolish Games."
Tonight was HEAVEN! Now I am off to sleep... I can't wait for the NIN concert... I have odd taste don't I? confused

Jewel is pretty cool...I love Foolish Games and a whole host of other songs (although Foolish Games is my fave, esp to sing). My husband has the hots for her...can you blame him? wink

Glad you had such a good time! I love that high you get from a good concert, and it sounds like you had a double dose! And liking different stuff is good; it's nice to have the contrast I think.
